Sample of color correction from the November 2019 Contemporary Art Day sale and catalog. The initial shot was dull and dark. After silhouetting on white I was asked to increase contrast and saturation, while also brightening a bit to make it “pop”. The edited image was used in the catalog and on the website. The piece sold above it’s high estimate for $262,500.
