The Contemporary Art Day catalog from November 2018 is another book I am proud of. The front cover featuring Starry Pumpkin Silver by Yayoi Kusama was one of the more difficult edits. Due to its weight the piece had to be shot on a wooden plinth instead of directly on the floor. Since I had so little to work with I rebuilt the background from scratch; new wall, new floor and a subtle reflection underneath. There was a good amount of glare that needed to be reduced and the colors required a bit more saturation. Used for the front cover, my edit was also featured in a double page detail spread and on the website.
