Some of us live for a good challenge. This piece by Mark Bradford from the May 2019 Contemporary Art Day catalog was one of the more difficult edits. The initial shot starts out dark and muddy, with the details barely visible. The entire piece needed to be much lighter but the texture of web like lines throughout had to be maintained. The final edit was used in the catalog on multiple pages including a single and double page detail spread along with the lot page.
