Iconic in it’s imagery, Untitled (Cowboy) represents the apex of Richard Prince’s career. I was able to see the art in person during the color correction process. Proper representation was of the utmost importance since this was the cover lot for the May 2019 Contemporary Art Day catalog. The yellow had far too much red and the blues needed a bit of weight and more purple. Besides the cover, the edited image was used in a full page detail spread and on the website.
